Dr. Strangelove is the classic, biting satire on the threat of total nuclear annihilation starring Peter Sellers. Based on the tense and earnest 1958 novel Red Alert by Peter Byrant, Stanley Kubrick’s film finds appalling comedy in the apocalyptic madness at the heart of the whole thing. You can’t fight in here: this is the War Room.

Curated in collaboration with the International Anthony Burgess Foundation.

Cast: Peter Sellers, George C. Scott, Sterling Hayden
