With the much anticipated The Falling being released on Friday 24 April, this is an opportunity to see Carol Morley’s highly acclaimed 2011 feature Dreams of a Life, one of Peter Bradshaw’s top 50 films of the demi-decade. A filmmaker sets out to discover the life of Joyce Vincent, who died in her bedsit in North London in 2003. Her body wasn’t discovered for three years, and newspaper reports offered few details of her life – not even a photograph.
Screening as part of CINEMANIA – a specially selected season of film screenings, talks and Q&As from industry professionals aimed at the under 24s. Plus, the tickets for under 24’s are just £4 – bargain!
Cinemania is presented by Picturehouse and Film Hub London.
