This is a cinematic classic! Showing why Australia has a reputation for great movies! Excellent story, great casting and amazing directing. Showing the world you can make a classic without CGI. Relying on great story telling and accomplished actors, Being Gavin is a must see. To quote another great Aussie film.., this is one for the pool room! Love love love it!

Brilliant
Being Gavin is an simply outstanding movie. The writing, the acting, the directing – everything is done with balance and a light touch. Often movies like this can devolve into slapstick, become morose or create disconnections from reality for the audience. The writers, actors and director Owen Elliott do not let that happen here.

Really an enjoyable movie that manages to be funny, heartbreaking and hopeful all in one story. Hollywood… take notes!
