A challenge is thrown by Billa to Abbasi and he starts building his own empire, which eventually results in Billa crossing swords with Demitri himself. The bloody battle begins in Goa and ends in Georgia.
Plot: Small-time diamond smuggler David befriends Goa-based gangster Abbasi. But when David begins to build inroads with an international gangster, Abbasi is not happy, and soon the two turn into bitter rivals.

Billa-2 “David Billa” is so weak
i disappointed so much .. Billa-2 “David Billa” is so weak in screenplay. and glittering in the cinematography.. nothing is present there for impressed. and another terrible thing is “Gangster” song coming at the end of movie in end title card that’s An embarrassing mistake… and there is no scope for Parvathy Omanakuttan…she arriving in some frames only.. The red camera used in this movie R.D.Rajasheker handled very well in the climax scene.The director not involved in the songs i think ..bcoz songs are all terrible to watch .. and i don’t know why that belly dance song comes nearly at the climax.. Billa 2 is only for Ajith fans not for all. So Billa -2 is only 5 out of 10. – Raja ks

Billa 2 (2012) Rating: 2.5/5 | Just Satisfactory

Billa 2 is filled with guns and bullet’s noise penetrating the ears, including the aggressive action sequences and purports glamour with a parade of at least 30 Item Hot Girls – lifting the “A” certified stamp in the theater.

The screenplay and the context of the story is wearing less identity than the item girls – hot clothes bumped in the film. Ajith’s performance is typical, smart, spontaneous and also conventionalized as usual the dialogues are lesser than the belly guns in hand – talking with the bullets and firing.

Director ‘Chakri Toleti’ has technically made the film better than Billa 1, but it doesn’t mean that he has directed well. Very poor narrative and direction found in the film. Technically speaking Billa 2 was made well, with the good production crew members and in particular cinematography was impressive. Vishnu Varadhan’s view of Billa 1 principles are totally engraved with aggressive settings of David Billa and his unfulfilled history. David Billa’s every moment, even every second was ripped and carved shot by shot from Brain De Palma’s 1983 American crime film “Scarface”. The two Tamil language films, directed by Chakri Toleti(Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa 2) both are barely being adapted from the foreign movies. Ajith fans longing for a better movie nostalgia will continue to emanate.
