Interesting but forced
I can only assume the creators thought they were revealing some huge controversy about cemeteries and what happens to them over time? ¯\_(; /)_/¯ The tone remained the same throughout, like a dark murder mystery documentary but without the payoff. Is it really that shocking cemeteries change over time and get built over? I guess it seems rather obvious and common to me so the idea I was supposed to be moved or bothered by it fell kind of flat. Don’t get me wrong, it had some very interesting information about cemeteries and the death industry in general. But the way it was delivered was less matter of fact and more trying for shock value (without the value of shocking revelations). I think it would have been more effective if they had left out the dark mystery undertone and just focused on telling the story of each of the featured cemeteries. Less Ancient Aliens, more Ken Burns.
