Some good jokes, good entertainment to me.
I’m surprised reading so many extremely negative reviews for this stand-up comedy from Phil Wang. I thought it was entertaining from beginning till the end. Maybe he was a bit repetitive at one point, like some other reviewers wrote, but to me it was all part of the show. He has a good vocabulary, a little bit of sarcastic humor (that’s probably the part some people don’t get) and he’s not afraid of self-deprication. This show doesn’t deserve so many negative reviews, at least not that low of ratings.

Chitty Chitty Wang Wang Pulls Off Another Chortle-Worthy Special!
Not entirely sure where the negativity seems to be directed here. I’ve always found Phil’s idiosyncratic enunciations and delightfully succinct gags entertaining through his whole comedy career. He manages to expertly splice together a deceptively puerile sense of humor with tactful social commentary minced alongside a healthy helping og self-deprecation, crude yet charming racial jokes and contemplative criticism towards human pathology.

Phil’s always been an acquired taste for many though his unique blend of juvenile bits which are then promptly juxtaposed by blatant self-awareness and unadulterated societal anxieties make this special a treat for those with an open mind. He successfully hones his craft after Mellow Yellow and I give this a high-recommendation for anyone even remotely interested–though again, I understand he isn’t for everyone.
