Zach’s father died in a car accident so his family is his mother and his sister, Penny Sands. One night, Zach sees Susie, and she discovers that he can see her. Then Susie explains to Zach, there is a Heaven. But after death people are sent back to Earth to help their families. And sometimes when they can’t help by themselves, they get special help. And that is why Zach can see her. So that he could help her family. In fact, Zach is the only one who can see Susie. And on the way, Zach falls in love with Susie. Is their love divine?

Excellent Film
You can add me to the list of people who think this is an excellent film, and one of the best of its type. By the way: I generally avoid these kind of films (I only tried it for Shelly Long). Spoilers ahead: The entire basis of the film is the fact that the death of Suzie (Amy Jo Johnson) caused a terrible chain reaction which included her parents having to lose their house to a crooked banker, and only by coming back can they be saved from living in poverty, and at the same time, pull basketball star Zach Sands (Justin Whalin) out of his depression over his father’s death, and start him on the road to playing basketball again (Interestingly enough, Suzie’s dad was a basketball coach, and he will become an assistant coach working with Zach). At the end of the film, she inspires him to start playing again, and naturally, the team wins. The only unresolved question, is when she comes back as Maggie, does she know about the past, or it just Zach and his sister Teri played by Andrea Lipman (And who steals the film), who know the truth? No matter what, you know that Suzie/Maggie & Zach will end up together for the rest of their lives.
