Like Chimera herself, they’ve been pieced together based more on Marcus’ tight budget than their experience and reliability. Many of them are foreigners with pasts who have joined the service for a clean slate. Some are more competent than others; few of them have seen real combat.
Plot: A young, civilian aristocrat with no practical military experience must lead his bottom-dollar crew on a dangerous mission and overcome his youth, inexperience, and self doubt in this microbudget sci-fi drama.

Impressive Low Budget Project
I was floored to find out this project was completed by a dedicated couple with nothing but a green screen, an empty warehouse, local volunteer actors and a home editing studio. The passion everyone involved with this project has for it really shines throughout the whole viewing experience. The story line is compelling and the graphics are well done. Well done!

Traveler much?!
YUP I SAY 10/10

With Covid lock-down,I have been watching an endless stream of sci fi movies and eating to much. Today I found this gem staring at me in my recommendations list of prime.

At first glance I thought,nah,but my wife was at work so I figured, what the hell , why not.

Glad I did. At first the acting was a little amateurish but when you have watched B movies all your life you get used to it. Then the story started to come out as to who the crew was and the captain. I then realized that it was like a first session in a traveler game( a sci fi roleplaying game that has been around as long as DND). Once I started to see it as a game, I began seeing each character as a archetype,The noble Commander,the professional soldier, teh computer hacker etc.

Now watching it I began to imagine myself as the characters. Friggin great show. I love the story line, simple and classic. The fight was epic at the end, spoiler, the Chimera rolling over trying to get a manual shot was awesome.

The sneaky last shot by the crippled ship , fantastic.

Limping back to the star-base for repairs, classic ending to a fun session.

I will watch this more then once, or even twice. I will also buy the series, who knows, maybe my next Traveler campaign will be based off this world.

Better then startrek.yup I said it.

You want classic sci fi , this is the show…….
